If you are new to Alpha, we strongly suggest you use start out with Alpha Five, our Windows product. But for those not ready to make the switch, we have continued to update our DOS product so that it can run reliably under newer versions of Windows, including Windows XP

DOS-Based Fully Relational Database

Alpha Four is a networkable relational database management and application development system for both novice and expert users. It is fully menu driven with built in scripting capability. Microsoft Windows is the market leader of personal computer operating systems, but many people still have legacy systems built in Alpha Four. Others just prefer the simplicity and reliability of DOS.

Designed For Windows

Even though Alpha Four is a DOS product, version 8 is designed specifiaclly to work with Windows XP, 2000 ME, 98 and 95. It runs seamlessly on the newer filesystems and it also takes advantage of Windows printer drivers.
